Board of directors

Because our Aidshilfe is organised as a registered association (e.V.), there is a board of directors at the top. The board office is an honorary office, so the board members do not receive any remuneration for their work. The statutes of our association stipulate that the board of our Aidshilfe consists of three to five persons. It is elected by the general meeting for a period of two years.

Board meetings usually take place every month. The primary task of the board is the strategic management of the association. The board represents the association externally, takes over the representation vis-à-vis politics and administration and represents the association at the higher-level associations, such as the Aidshilfe North Rhine-Westphalia or the Deutsche Aidshilfe.
