In North Rhine-Westphalia, self-help for HIV-positive people has been organised under the umbrella brand "POSITHIV HANDELN". This is an offer of the Aidshilfe North Rhine-Westphalia.

POSITHIV HANDELN stands for information, self-confidence, integration and acceptance of the disease. Self-confident and informed people are better able to face the challenges of HIV infection.

The reality of life and the needs of women with HIV and AIDS differ in many essential aspects from those of men! This is why the state-wide initiative "XXelle - Women with HIV/Aids" has been launched in North Rhine-Westphalia.
