Prevention in prison

Our advisor is regularly represented at the Schwerte Prison (Justizvollzugsanstalt Schwerte)  and the Fröndenberg Prison Hospital (Justizvollzugskrankenhaus Fröndenberg). It is possible to take advantage of prevention events for both inmates and staff. The events are adapted to the organisational and time conditions on site.

Topics can be:

•     Prevention of HIV and hepatitis
•     Possibilities of safer use in prison
•     Infection prevention in everyday prison life
•     Dealing with HIV-positive prisoners

In addition, our youthworker offers two sexual education workshops every month at the juvenile detention centre in Lünen.
